Ulando Harris was born in the fashion capital of London, in the UK. While attending the prestigious London Collage of Fashion (LCF), Ulando secured a coveted internship at the design house of the renowned British designer Kathrine Hamnett. After graduating LCF Ulando was immediately offered a full time position at KH. Here Ulando was a major contribute to this award winning company.
It was during her time at Kathrine Hamnett, that Ulando founded her company "Ulando Harris Men's Wear." Within six months of launching, the company gained instant success. Resulting in her first fashion show being held at the Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, and Elle McPherson fronted, "London Fashion Cafe' in London Piccadilly Circus.
Ulando's show entitled; "The luxury of Linen" received rave reviews, with exciting comments on "the attention to detail and clean lines" giving a "fresh and ready to wear look a tremendous amount of class." Finally, men of all ages are able to wear fine quality linen to work and play, while still being able to keep their classic standards, in comfort and with sophistication.
Ulando had fulfilled one of her many dreams.
